Message from Japan.They needs your support!
2人のカナダ人と2人の日本人で形成されているバンド、MonkeyMajikのメンバーが、
現地でボランティアとして日々頑張っています。
現地でボランティアとして日々頑張っています。
There is a popular two Canadian and two Japanese music band called "MonkeyMajik" in Japan.
They enjoy volunteer in Sendai and they trying hard to rebuild Tohoku area.
今回は、掲載の許可をいただいたので、紹介させていただきます。
This time I got a message from him, so I'm posting it here.
彼らは仙台を愛し、仙台を拠点に活動している人たちです。
今回の震災時にももちろん仙台にいて、うち、カナダ人2人がTwitterや自身のブログで随時現地報告をされています。
They really love Japan and their stronghold is Sendai.
Of course they were in Sendai when the big earthquake hit the Tohoku area.
The two Canadians are posting messages and photos from disaster area using thir blog and Twitter.

昨日起こった事、そして今日から起こる事は挑戦になるでしょう。僕は家を失いました。
私たちの人生、友人、家族を大切にし、そしてできるだけたくさんの人々を助け進んで行きましょう。今日は何も忘れない、すべてを記憶する。
みなさん愛しています、そしてどうか無事でいてください。
From what happened yesterday, and what will happen from today will be a challenge. I lost my home.
May we cherish our lives, our friends, and family, and help as many people as we can along the way. Today we forget nothing, but remember everything.
Love you all, and stay safe.
感情的な一週間でした。泣いている人々、壊滅状態の町、沖に流された船、そしてもうこの様な事態に出くわすことはな二度とないことを願っています。
でもこの混乱から人々は共に働き、再建しようとしている。長いプロセスにはなるけれど、良い方向に向かって行くと思います。
家族を失った方たちの為に祈っています。そしてまだ愛する人を探している人へも。
It has been an emotional week.
I've seen people cry, towns destroyed, ships washed up on shore, and I hope I never get to see that again.
But out of all this turmoil comes people working together trying to rebuild.
It's a slow process but I'm sure things will turn out well.
I pray for all the families who have lost loved ones, and are still looking for their loved ones.

今日、片付けをしてたら、友達が以前送ってくれた手紙を見つけた。
彼女が十代の頃に書いたもの・・・・。
彼女は今被災地で頑張ってる。
私も頑張ろう！そう思った。

今、被災地では、大切な資源、電力などを被災者の方々の生活支援のために使用しているそうです。
なので、応援メッセージは大変ありがたいのですが、お気持ちだけでお願いします。とのこと。
もちろん、それもサポートの形の一つ。
「頑張れ！」や「元気になってね！」の電話で、被災者の方々の緊急電話をさまたげてはならない。
メールや、手紙をたっくさん送って、整理のために現地の方々のボランティアの手を使わせてはならない。
そこで、このサイトを使っていただけたら、と思います。
現地に直接送るのは難しい、でも届けたい気持ち！を、いったんここに留めてみませんか？
今すぐには届けることが難しくても、いつか必ず届きます！
現に、海外の方からのメッセージは、非被災者の方々には届いています！
計画節電などで、パソコンを使える時間も限られている中、観覧してくださっている方々がたくさんいます！
In the Tohoku area (disaster area), people have limited resources that can only be used to support emergency services.
While the foreign support is very much appreciated, please hold off on phone calls or sending letters and emails to victims in those areas.
Everyone is extremely grateful for the kindness but right now services have to be as efficient as possible to deal with the worst of the damage.
We made this website for prayers and messages reach to Japan.
It is difficult for the victims to receive your well wishes but we will continue to do our best to help.
Your message of hope is important not only for the Tohoku residents but for all of Japan and as they work to rebuild what was lost.
It has even touched those in Japan who were not in the affected areas.
Thank you again for your care!
